Package Itinerary
Day 1Haridwar – Barkot
The day begins early with a breakfast and a 30 km drive to Barkot. We stop at the beautiful Kempty Falls just outside Mussoorie and enjoy a picnic before proceeding. We reach Barkot in the evening and everyone retires for the night.
Day 2Barkot – Yamunotri
Breakfast on hot snacks and board the coach for the 32 km drive across winding mountainous roads to Hanuman Chatti. From here we have to take a jeep to Phool Chatti. From Phool Chatti everyone has to trek or take a palanquin to arrive at the Yamunotri temple complex. Devotees bathe in the Yamuna River or take a dip in Surya Kund, a hot water Kund on the way and also worship Divya Shila. It is customary to carry some rice and potatoes tied in a bag and dip it in Suraj Kund and then offer them at the temple to the Goddess. After Darshan we return to Phool Chatti and then onwards to Barkot for the night
Day 3Barkot – Haridwar
Breakfast over the long 225 km drive to Haridwar starts and you enjoy the scenery along the way. Check into your hotel, freshen up and then set out to explore local markets or sample local delights. You then retire for the night after a scrumptious dinner.
